A Dinner out!

Thank you for your Christmas encouragement and ideas!! Hubby and I went shopping today and got most of it done! Praise the Lord! NOW, we can focus on the best part! 

Getting our heart ready for the birth of our Savior, Jesus and celebrating this joyful time!

One more thing to ask- a few more ideas for a 12 yr old girl who is at about a 9-10 yr old level and who has conservative parents (that would be us), any ideas!

It is so wonderful to see picture of our three new girls on the blog, I almost don't even want to post again so they can just stay there!

BUT, life continues and soon they will be on the blog a lot!

Whoa Nellie! Things are happening!

FAST!

Praying that we get our TA asap so we can go to China and get home before CNY!

After Church today we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner!
Luke, Anna, Abby, Emma and... Hubby could not do chopsticks.

We promised we would have chopstick lessons at home soon!

Hubby is in training or he will be unknowingly on a diet once we go to China!

It seems that we are quite the spectacle now that we have a crew of 8 children.
The people that own the restaurant were wondering why...
"we were only a family of ten tonight"!

We explained that the big kids had other plans (okay, maybe we didn't invite them, whatever ;-)
and our three new children are still in China.

Our waiter was so nice. 
He knows exactly what we will be ordering- our favorites!
Of course the table next to us asked him about us.
We heard him saying that the children are adopted and that we are going back to China to bring three more children home.
and then they told the next table...
and the next...
and the next...

The table next to us started chatting with us.
They were very nice.
We did tell them that by February we will be needing their table too!
Because we will not be able to "all" fit on our table!

The children were amazingly well behaved!

THIS happened after everyone was GONE!

Three families came up to us and said "you have a beautiful family and the children are so well behaved"!

They said all this before...

I did mention to hubby...
I just want a quiet peaceful dinner, no extra attention...

And he responded,
My dearest darling wife, we have adopted 8 children from China... that is not possible!
